QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) – PST Shift
Location: Hyderabad (Work from Office)
Shift: PST (Pacific Standard Time, i.e., between 8:00 PM IST and 6:00 AM IST)

About the Tech Doctors Team
The Tech Doctors Team plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the systems we build. This team collaborates closely with:

to design testing strategies, implement automation frameworks, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality before they reach production.
As a QA Engineer, you will work on real-world engineering problems, helping teams identify risks early and deliver reliable software with confidence.
What This Role Entails:
As a QA Engineer at Techdome, you will shape product quality by enabling reliable systems, driving consistency across releases, and contributing to a culture focused on delivering high-impact customer outcomes.
You will design and execute testing strategies that help engineering teams release software with confidence, stability, and performance in mind.
Since you will be collaborating closely with US-based teams, this role requires working in the PST shift to ensure smooth communication and real-time collaboration.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform end-to-end manual testing to validate product stability and functionality
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web applications
- Conduct API testing to ensure backend reliability and data integrity
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments
- Identify, log, and track defects using industry-standard tools
- Contribute to test planning, test case creation, and test execution
- Improve existing QA processes and automation frameworks
- Explore AI-powered testing tools and modern QA practices
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality software releases
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 – 3.5 years of hands-on experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) role with exposure to both Manual and Automation Testing
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright, along with TestNG and Maven frameworks; knowledge of BDD using Cucumber is a plus
- Strong experience in manual testing practices using tools like JIRA, TestRail, ClickUp, and AgileTest, with a good understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows
- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman with strong knowledge of API testing concepts; experience in API automation testing is an added advantage
- Basic programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, or Java
- Strong learning mindset with curiosity to explore AI technologies in testing and ability to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and frameworks

- Experience with MCP Server
- Exposure to Load / Performance Testing
- Tools such as Locust, K6, or Playwright
- Experience with Database Testing
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

Night Shift Allowance (PST Shift)
Employees working in the PST night shift are eligible for:
• ₹375 per working night as night shift allowance
• ₹100 per night as meal reimbursement
