The Opportunity
Techdome is hiring a Shopify Developer who can build high-converting D2C storefronts and drive the marketing strategies that bring customers to them. This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to own the complete design-to-growth journey — not just hand off a build and walk away.
You'll work across Shopify development (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and growth marketing (paid ads, SEO, email/SMS, CRO), taking storefronts from Figma design through launch and into ongoing optimization.
What You'll Own
- Development and customization of Shopify stores using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Custom sections, templates, and reusable storefront components
- Conversion of Figma designs into responsive, production-ready Shopify experiences
- Store performance — speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile optimization
- Integration of Shopify apps, APIs, payments, analytics, reviews, and subscriptions
- Performance campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads
- SEO, GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking
- Email/SMS campaigns and CRO/A-B testing programs
- Collaboration with design and content teams on campaigns and launches
You'll work closely with design and content teams, and own the full lifecycle of a storefront from build to conversion to revenue.
What You Bring (Must-Haves)
- 2–5 years of Shopify development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with paid advertising, SEO, email/SMS marketing, or D2C growth
- Working knowledge of GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking
- Understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and conversion-focused UX
- Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations
Nice to Have
- Shopify Plus experience
- Git/version control knowledge
- Experience with CRO and heatmap tools
- Exposure to Hydrogen, Next.js, or Shopify Storefront API
- Experience with Klaviyo, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog
