About the Role
Great ideas often die in the gap between a leadership discussion and actual execution. This role exists to close that gap. As a right hand to Techdome's CEO and CTO, you'll take rough, unfinished thoughts from strategy conversations and shape them into clear plans with timelines and named owners, then follow each one through to completion.
You'll work across Engineering, Marketing, BD, and Ops, pushing priorities from "we should do this" to "it's live." You'll also keep hunting for ways AI and automation can take over the manual, repetitive work that slows the business down.
What You'll Do
- Turn CEO/CTO discussions into structured action plans with clear owners, deadlines, and next steps
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Marketing, BD, and Ops through to real completion, not just progress reports
- Spot operational bottlenecks early and clear them before they become fire drills
- Build sharp, client-ready pitch decks, proposals, and briefing documents for founder-led meetings
- Join client and BD conversations and own the follow-up as if the deal were your own
- Run market, competitor, and customer research and turn it into recommendations the team can act on
- Identify recurring manual work (research, reporting, documentation) and build AI-powered or automated replacements
- Pick up ad hoc, cross-cutting projects that don't belong to any one team
Who You Are
- 6+ months in a Founder's Office, BizOps, Strategy, BD, or early-stage startup role
- Someone who has delivered results without a ready-made playbook
- Highly self-driven: you see what's missing and fix it before anyone asks
- Comfortable with ambiguity and with priorities that change within a single week
- Skilled at building compelling PowerPoint decks and Excel/Google Sheets models
- Someone who uses AI tools as a core part of your daily workflow, not an afterthought
- Trustworthy with confidential information, and able to juggle many threads without dropping details
Bonus Points
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup or founder's office
- Exposure to client-facing work or business development
- Hands-on familiarity with Notion, Asana, or Trello
- Understanding of how AI, SaaS, Healthcare, Fintech, or Enterprise Tech businesses work
- An MBA is welcome, but a proven bias for execution counts for far more
Why Techdome?
- Real ownership: You'll be part of strategy, technology, AI, BD, client relationships, and operations, as a driver rather than an observer
- Proximity to leadership: Regular, direct access to the CEO and CTO, and a seat where key decisions are made
- Wide scope: You'll work across the whole business, with no pre-packaged tasks and no room to coast
- Growth path: A clear route into a broader leadership or strategy role as your impact grows
What Success Looks Like
Ideas raised in leadership discussions keep turning into finished results on your watch. The right people are aligned, blockers are removed quickly, and nothing important falls through the cracks.
