Shipping is the starting line. We want engineers who stay for the finish.
Launching a feature is the easy part. What separates strong engineers from the rest is what they do when the pager goes off, when a traffic surge hits unexpectedly, or when a client’s revenue depends on your service staying up. At Techdome, we hire people who treat production as their responsibility, not someone else’s problem.

We design and deliver production-ready platforms for clients in FinTech, Healthcare, E-commerce, SaaS, Logistics, and EdTech. The domains change; our bar doesn’t. Everything we build must be dependable, secure, and ready to scale. We’re now hiring a Senior Software Engineer who can architect, build, and operate systems using Node.js, React, MongoDB, and TypeScript, and who stays invested in how those systems perform long after launch.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • The full lifecycle of your features: Drive everything from early design through development, deployment, and long-term upkeep, and remain accountable well beyond go-live.
  • Resilient APIs and applications: Build secure, well-tested, scalable services that stay stable under real production traffic.
  • Raising the engineering standard: Lead meaningful code reviews and set the practices that keep our codebases healthy and reliable.
  • Production firefighting: Step into incidents hands-on, bring services back quickly, and lead root-cause analysis so the same problem never returns.
  • Architectural direction: Help shape system design and the major technical decisions that guide our platforms.
  • Developing your teammates: Mentor and coach fellow engineers to strengthen the whole team.
  • Working across functions: Collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and DevOps, with hands-on work in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and observability tooling.
  • Learning each client’s world: Rapidly grasp the business, users, and constraints behind every project and translate them into the right technical approach.

How Your First Three Months Look

  • Days 1–30: Get to know our codebases, delivery workflow, and people, and ship your first meaningful contribution.
  • Days 31–60: Take end-to-end ownership of a feature or service, and become a visible contributor in code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Days 61–90: Become a trusted engineer on a core client product, operate confidently in production, and begin guiding those around you.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Node.js, React, MongoDB, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid foundation in REST API design, database architecture, authentication and authorization, testing, and application security.
  • Proven experience operating production applications at scale, not only building them.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Comfort with CI/CD, Git, Docker, and production monitoring and debugging.
  • Experience across different industries or product types, with the ability to ramp up quickly on unfamiliar domains.
  • Demonstrated leadership and a record of stepping up when ownership matters.

Nice to Have

  • Depth in system design, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Experience with compliance and security frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR, or SOC 2.
  • Experience integrating third-party services such as payment gateways (Stripe, Braintree, Adyen), CRMs, or analytics platforms.
  • Background in a consultancy or product studio, handling several clients and products simultaneously.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
